First, black Friday. Check out all the deals well in advance. Look at SundaySaver.com they will have a special section for all the ads for Black Friday. They will also list out some online only deals for you. Give yourself a week, not a day to decide what to buy for the holidays.
Don’t forget to save on items you need for your household while they are on sale. If you need new bath towels, they will be on sale. Save yourself an extra 15% by replacing old ones now instead of in March.
Make a list and stick to it! It’s fun to go see all the other savers when it’s still pitch black, but remember that you are shopping at the crack of dawn to save money.
Get a raincheck if one is available. Some stores do while supplies last, others will give you a raincheck if you shop within the sale hours.
Use Gift cards with your food rebates to buy for even less. Get a Retail Gift card, file a beverage gift card rebate. You’ll save anywhere from 10% to 20% by using gift cards ON black Friday. Plus, it’s handy to buy the cards in advance, then when you run out of money it’s time to go home!
Then don’t forget all the holiday deals that are for non coupon users. You’ll see County Market get very aggressive when they know other shoppers are doing more grocery buying than usual. So you’ll find more Price Cuts, unadvertised sales, and deals. Nothing wrong with stocking up now while the prices are at their lowest point. Things to look for during holidays are Snack foods, Beverages, liquor and wine, and paper products. These sell well at the holidays and we can match coupons and file rebates to stock ourselves for the entire year. Think “4th of July plates and napkins.”
