BOGO Coupons

These types of coupons are some of the best available.  They allow for a huge discount on a product-(guaranteed 50%) and often quite a bit more. How can 50% be MORE than 50%?  When you stack one of these with another type of coupon you can get deep discounts.
There are 4 main types of coupons.
1. Cents Off
2. Buy and Get
3. FREE with Qualifier
4. Catalina (on your next purchase)
The Buy and Get is the most common stacker coupon.  It works really well with Cents Off coupons.  Most BOGO coupons are found as Hangtag coupons.  Now all we need to do is find the matching Cents off coupons and double up our savings.
Typically, you’ll see this:
· Buy one get one Cake mix
· Save $1 on 2 Cake mixes.
Use both and you’ll be well over 75% saved.
Confusion sets in when you mix a FREE with Qualifier coupon with a Buy and Get coupon.  Mostly because you’ll end up needing three items in the cart.  There is one odd one out.  To get the FREE, you almost always need to purchase two.  The purchase price can be $0, but it needs to be scanned into the order.  When putting these two coupons together on a set of items you’ll end up with three purchases, and two will be at $0.  One will be the odd one out.  IF you could find a cents off coupon you are welcome to stack it into the order.  Yet this is very rare, the companies know to not offer a single cents off coupon at the time they have a big stacker like this.
It looks like this:
· Buy one get one Cake Mix
· Get free frosting when you buy 2 cake mixes
· Save $1 on 1 Frosting.
How many of you did a double read on the frosting?  Just because something is $0 doesn’t mean you can’t stack if there is a manufacturer’s coupon good for that time period.  Like I mentioned, it’s just rare!  You would not be able to use cake mix $1 on 2 coupon, because you already have two mix coupons for the two purchases.  You would exceed the limit. The FREE with Qualifier coupon is what allows the frosting to pass.  Its based on the purchase of two other items.
When ever in doubt, scan it to see.
