Organizing your Organizer

Most stores are getting their organizers this week. There are some things I did to mine to make it really work for me.

  1. Custom Tabs. I have an excel list of categories that work better for me. I have sent an electronic copy to all hostesses. You can simply run these on Address labels and have your own custom set for your box. I like having just 22-25 main categories, and then some sub categories. Store maps are being sent from the corporate office to stores, I placed my map in the lid of the organizer.
2. Don’t fill all 4 sections with your labeled cards. Keep one section for special stashes. In my special section I use the tabs for “This week” “Expiring this Month” and “Check out lane” This helps me to know where things are that I need quickly.

Keep the very front of one section for
your Redeemable pile. As you place an item in the cart, put your coupon HERE. No more carrying them around-Remember Hands free Shopping!

3. Use color! One of our group uses colored cards to flag coupons she doesn’t want to forget about, or she likes to be able to find fast. Any colored cards will do.

4. Eliminate what you will NEVER use. I won’t be buying baby goods, so those tabs are out!

5. Add anything that seems to omitted for your needs. One of our gals buys lots of Atkins only. So she created a category just for Atkins foods.

6. Items for your Secret space: Scissors, pens, highlighter, calculator, extra cards, paper clips, tape, stapler.

**ask your club hostess to gather the aisles specific to your store, and I'll put your store online at this link. Or better, yet, help her figure them. We'll get all stores listed as the files come my way. Thank You for helping others. Hannibal, Quincy's Broadway store and Pittsfield are completed.
